Big Booty chocolates are made fresh weekly in small batches, and we ship out each order every Wednesday. Incoming orders for the nearest shipping date must be placed before Tuesday, 2pm PST, in order to have your chocolates shipped out the following day.

To guarantee the best possible preservation of each order, cold packs are automatically added to packaging throughout the summer months, resulting in higher shipping fees. For this reason, we can only accommodate orders over $50 for the time being.
Shipping destinations with a climate that consistently reaches above 70º F, we highly suggest having a recipient onsite at the time of delivery in order to preserve the integrity of your product. Upon arrival, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. If refrigerated, please take out 30 nim before enjoying. For maximum experience and flavor, please enjoy within 2 weeks.

In Summer, we offer flat rate Priority Mail shipping for all orders. This includes complimentary ice & insulation, and our Melt-Free Guarantee covers orders of any size!

In the hot months, we only ship to most destinations 3 days a week, and ask for your patience as we may need to wait until the following week to ship your order. Communication is key! We ship all orders to warm climates, with enough complimentary ice & insulation to deliver safely! We guarantee that your chocolate will be in perfect condition upon arrival, but cannot be responsible if you are not home when it arrives. We hope you also understand that we cannot be responsible for tardiness (USPS issues that are out of our hands). Our default shipping method is Priority Mail, and we have had over 99% delivery success for shipment throughout all seasons!!! Express Mail is, of course, the fastest method and USPS also guarantees this method in addition to our Melt-Free Guarantee.

It also means that lead time depends on which items we have on hand at the time your order is placed, and how many of your items need to be made to order.

Warm Weather Shipping

Chocolate melts in your mouth – that’s one of the very best things about it! But that means it also melts in the heat, and that’s a little trickier.

But have no fear! We include reusable insulation & ice packs (biodegradable where and if possible!) completely free of charge!

We monitor temperature and schedule shipments around weekends to ensure our bundles of joy will arrive safe & sound! If your order won’t arrive by Friday, we’ll wait & ship Monday to safeguard against sitting in a hot post office. We know waiting for chocolate is so difficult (!) but shipping on a careful schedule is how we have such an excellent delivery success rate all summer.

Teamwork makes the Dream Work!

While our ice, insulation, and shipping schedule will ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition, please partner up with us by keeping an eye on your tracking info and making sure someone is home to bring your delivery in from the heat upon arrival! If no one is home when USPS arrives, your chocolate may be left in the heat! 🙁 If no one will be home at usual USPS delivery time, we can ship to a different address – your work or a trustworthy neighbor, perhaps. Please be sure you’ve entered an address where someone will be present to receive the delivery! We strongly recommend that you sign up for text alerts from USPS. We have >99% delivery success rate most everywhere As long as someone is present at delivery, you’re covered under our Melt-Free Guarantee!
